Disney's 2012 Promotion:Win a Trip To Disneyland or Magic Kingdom, Enjoy a Leap Year Party, and More

Disney offers a new promotion each year for its theme parks. For 2012 this promotion is called "One More Disney Day".

For the promotion, Disneyland Park in California and the Magic Kingdom Park in Florida will be open for 24 hours on February 29 for a "leap day" party. Disneyland Park and the Magic Kingdom Park will be open from 6:00 am (local time) February 29 to 6:00 am March 1 (local time). According to Disney, this is not a special ticketed event, so any valid Disney admission ticket will work. Some of the rides, attractions, restaurants and shops will not be open for the entire 24 hours. Disney will be publishing a schedule of events closer to February 29, so you will need to check with the Disney website to see what is offered for that special day.

In conjunction with this special promotion, Disney is offering a contest. There will be 60 trips awarded to either the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California or to the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. Each trip includes the following prize for up to four people: a 5 day park-hopper pass, 4 night hotel accommodations, round-trip transportation, and a $1000 Disney gift card. Photo Pass packages and guided tours may also be included for each winner. Each trip must be taken on selected dates between June 1, 2012 and June 1, 2013. There are two ways to enter this contest. You can either text the word "DisneyDay" to 347639 with your cell phone or you can complete the entry form at http://www.Disney.com/memoriessweeps. You can enter once a day and then a winner will be selected from each day's drawing. This contest will end at midnight on 2/29/12.

There is also a hotel offer associated with the "One More Disney Day" promotion. The offer is valid for most stays at the Disneyland Resort or Walt Disney World Resort from February 26, 2012 through March 10, 2012. The reservation must be booked through the Walt Disney Travel Company or a participating travel agency by January 31, 2012. This offer includes a 4th day and night for free when you buy a non- discounted 3 day ticket and 3 night hotel package.
